1. Our Role Under GDPR
RSCU Cloud Backup primarily acts as a data processor when providing backup and data protection services to business customers (“Controllers”).
In limited cases (such as account administration, billing, and support communications), RSCU may act as a data controller for business contact information.

2. Customer Data Processing
RSCU does not access, analyze, or use customer backup data except as necessary to provide the Service.
Customer data is:

processed only on documented customer instructions
stored using third-party infrastructure providers supporting the Service

3. Subprocessors
RSCU uses authorized subprocessors to deliver the Service, including infrastructure and support providers.

4. Data Subject Rights
Where RSCU acts as a data processor, requests related to:

Deletion
Restriction
Portability
should be directed to the relevant data controller (the customer or reseller).

5. Data Processing Agreement (DPA)
RSCU makes a Data Processing Agreement available to customers and resellers upon request.

6. Security Measures
RSCU implements commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and secure authentication mechanisms.

7. International Data Transfers
Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA), such transfers are conducted in accordance with applicable GDPR requirements, including the use of appropriate safeguards.
